ha ha ha! So Im not alone....does this explain why my epic: Circus of the Damned has taken over 5 years to make so far and is looking at a running time of almost 2 hours long so far...?

never ending sprawling mess.....you need discipline....

But that might just be an Australian thing.

Most short film festivals i've checked out ask for a maximum 10 minute runtime.
